This is the most wonderful fast casual dining place we found on our Atlanta road trip. It's obvious that the owner cares about the pace and him and his family make everything in house including the sauces. Highly recommend! Everything was delicious
Right off Windy Hill of Smyrna. Was greeted by a very tentative and kind man, he was happy to ask if we’re new to explain how the menu works. It’s pretty straight forward and simple. $13 lunch box Issa thing and I mean it’s amazing. We ordered, 1 beef bulgogi and 1 spicy pork bulgogi along with a 5pc pot stickers. Was served within 10-15mins. Probably $35 all together. Absolutely affordable in my opinion, portions were great perfect actually. Side came in a 2.5oz portion cup I think, maybe a 3oz and it was a taste of straight Korean mom, homemade with love kind of side. You will taste the difference! We will def tell our family and friends, co workers and strangers about this amazing establishment. Thank you for a wonderful experience. 2nd visit, got the LA Galbi and the fries❤️😋
Stopped by for lunch and it was the best decision. Food was amazing!! I got the pork bulgogi. The price is great for the meal with sides. Everything was fresh and it’s really clean inside. Great Food! Will be Back!
Wow this place is amazing!! Everything was great. You have the option to place an order on the machine (this is neat if you’re an introverted) or just ask the staff to help you order. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and kind. The owner/manager was on site and he was making sure that everyone was doing well. He was very nice and generous. The place was neat and clean. The staff also makes sure to clean right away whenever someone leaves a table, which should be the standard but you can tell they go above and beyond. The food was also delicious, fresh, and well cooked. I loved this place because sometimes the Korean bbq places don’t have the option to order in less amount of food. Here you can order exactly what you want without wasting food. It was one of the best experiences I had visiting Korean restaurants to be honest. Just like I told the owner/manager, I just wish there were more Korean restaurants closer in the area. So save your trip to Duluth and visit this place instead.
The culinary experience here was exceptional. We selected the specialty box, which included L.A. Galbi, potstickers, and chicken teriyaki, all of which were outstanding. The Galbi ribs, in particular, were among the finest I have ever encountered. The freshness of the ingredients was evident, and the Galbi was remarkably flavorful, served hot, and truly delicious. I highly recommend experiencing it firsthand. Furthermore, the individual managing the front desk was incredibly pleasant, courteous, and highly accommodating, especially given that this was our initial visit and we were uncertain about our preferences. We anticipate returning in the future.🙏🏼🙏🏼
The charcoal-grilled meats are flavorful, especially the teriyaki chicken. so good. i like spicy pork bulgogi its like 제육볶음! so delish and mild-spicy. The kimchi fried rice is a must also. def great option for takeout, quick lunches, or office catering.
Tried out their kbbq boxes and they were so good! Meat quality for the price was such a nice deal and it’s very filling. Next time, I might upgrade the white rice to kimchi fried rice. They are very friendly and explain the menu well. I’m excited for this Korean spot in the area. Can’t wait to go back!
Today was the soft opening of KBBQ SPOT (near the intersection of Windy Hill and Powers Ferry Rd). I had the pleasure of trying the spicy pork belly, the LA Galbi (short ribs), and the Tteokbokki. The proteins come in a to-go box with rice, spicy pickled cucumbers, and macaroni salad. This makes it a very good option for those looking to scratch that KBBQ itch but don't have the time to sit down for a couple of hours for a meal (although they do have plenty of seating). Spicy Pork Belly- Crispy exterior, juicy interior, and the marinade had nicely balanced savory and spicy flavors without being overwhelmingly spicy. LA Galbi (Beef Short Ribs)- These were savory, lightly sweet, oh-so-tender, and had a surprisingly pleasant smoky flavor too! I've never had Galbi like this, but I urge all short rib lovers to come try this signature dish. You won't be disappointed. Tteokbokki (Sweet/Spicy Rice Cakes)- The tteokbokki here was soft, and it was accompanied by thin sliced fishcakes, carrots, and onions. I believe that, other than the texture, what makes or breaks a top-tier tteokbokki is the sauce. With that in mind, I loved the tteokbokki here as I am not a fan of overly sweet sauce. It had a small kick, great flavor, and just a very slight sweetness to it. I enjoyed it and would definitely order it again. For everyone who enjoys a nice, cold beer or soju with their kbbq, they have a sign up saying that Korean Beer & Wine options are coming soon. I have tried many korean bbq spots throughout Georgia, and of all the fast service Korean restaurants I have been to, KBBQ Spot was my favorite.
